Softball Recap: Trinity Presbyterian Takes a Loss

If Trinity Presbyterian was riding high fresh off their 16-6 takedown of Pike County last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats fell 8-3 to the Autauga Academy Generals on Friday. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Micaiah Shelton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Emma Rose Meldrum, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Trinity Presbyterian fell to 2-1. As for Autauga Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
