Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask El Dorado). They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rose Hill Rockets 11-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-run performance the contest before.

El Dorado is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Rose Hill, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7.

Coincidentally, El Dorado and Rose Hill will both be playing McPherson the next time they take the field. The Rockets will head out to face the Bullpups on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them on Friday.
