Meanwhile, Perkins County faced Bridgeport in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Perkins County fell to Bridgeport 26-20. That makes it the first time this season the Plainsmen have let down their home crowd.
Sutherland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Perkins County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
