Softball Recap: St. Dominic Crusaders vs. Parkway North Vikings        
        
		
             St. Dominic and Parkway North met for a duel  on Tuesday where St. Dominic came out on top. The St. Dominic Crusaders put the hurt on the Parkway North Vikings with a sharp  18-2 victory. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six  runs or more this season.
  Kelsey Kunz made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 In other pitching news,  Ann Alsop looked comfortable as she  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 Back at the plate, St. Dominic got a  massive  performance out of  Brylie Mills, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Madeline Ganey, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 St. Dominic is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record  this season. As for Parkway North, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Dominic will head out to  challenge Ritenour  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Parkway North, they will venture away from home to  square off against Lutheran South  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lutheran South is coming into the  match with three straight  defeats at home,  meaning Parkway North will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
