Volleyball Recap: Archie Williams Takes a Loss

Archie Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Irvington Vikings.

Archie Williams' offense was headlined by Zachary Wulff and Duco Nieulant, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Max Brasler and his eight assists. Finally, Wulff was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Archie Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Irvington, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Archie Williams has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Bishop O'Dowd on the 29th. As for Irvington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Oakland on the 29th.
