 Pope John XXIII won against St. Joseph Regional  last Saturday with five  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. Pope John XXIII never let the Kinnelon Colts onto the board and left with  a   5-0  win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Pope John XXIII.
 Not much got past  Will Ryan, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up six Ks to keep Kinnelon off the board.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Evan Johnson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 4-for-4.  Andrew Pami was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Pope John XXIII is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record  this season. As for Kinnelon, they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-14.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pope John XXIII will take on West Morris Mendham at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
