Basketball Game Preview: Regis Ramblers vs. McDonell Central Macks

Regis hasn't had much luck against McDonell Central recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Ramblers will be home for the holidays to greet the Macks at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Regis sitting on three straight wins and McDonell Central on six.

On Tuesday, Regis strolled past Bloomer with points to spare, taking the game 73-59. Given the Ramblers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 173rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDonell Central). They were the clear victors by a 72-49 margin over Cadott on Tuesday. The Macks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 23 points or more this season.

McDonell Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Regis, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Everything came up roses for Regis against McDonell Central in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 72-45 victory. Will the Ramblers repeat their success, or do the Macks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
