Basketball Recap: Linton-Stockton Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Linton-Stockton can now relate to. They fell just short of the Sullivan Golden Arrows by a score of 44-41 on Tuesday. The Miners were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Arrows earlier this season, when they won 51-45.

Linton-Stockton has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Sullivan, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.

Linton-Stockton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sullivan, they will face off against South Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Knox knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 24 games -- so hopefully Sullivan likes a good challenge.
