While Yorkville's win against Lemont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Foxes skirted past the Lemont HS 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Foxes, who have now won three matches in a row.

Yorkville's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Lemont, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 25-10.

Coming up, Yorkville will head out on the road to face off against Sycamore at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Foxes 3.5, the Spartans 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Lemont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
