Basketball Recap: Calhan Bulldogs vs. Elbert Bulldogs
If Calhan was feeling good fresh off their 49-26 takedown of Kiowa on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Calhan came up short against Elbert on Friday, falling 57-31. The team also got some help courtesy of Carl Hughett, who posted five points along with nine boards and three blocks.
Calhan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Elbert, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.
Calhan has already played their next matchup, a 64-26 loss against Byers on the 24th. As for Elbert, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-29 victory against Hanover on the 24th.
