Soccer Recap: Hauser Comes Up Short

Hauser fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Southwestern on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Southwestern this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Hauser's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Southwestern, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season.

Hauser will face off against Central Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hauser are facing Central Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Central Christian Academy are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Southwestern will be paying especially close attention to Hauser's match: after Hauser faces off against Central Christian Academy, they'll take on Southwestern again at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
