Preview: Torres Toros vs. Dos Palos Broncos
The Torres Toros will head out on the road to face off against the Dos Palos Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Torres comes in on five and Dos Palos on 11.
Torres extended their postseason success on Friday against Shafter. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 43-42 win over the Generals. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Meanwhile, Dos Palos' game on Friday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 28-21 win over Exeter.
Andre Flores and Peyton Van worth were among the main playmakers for Dos Palos as the former gained 104 total yards and a touchdown and the latter threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
The last time Torres lost on the road was back back in September. Having now won five straight away contests, they've pushed their record up to 10-3. As for Dos Palos, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.
