Basketball Recap: KIPP Newark Lab Takes a Loss

KIPP Newark Lab was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting North Star Academy an easy 39-14 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Sharks have suffered since January 25th.

KIPP Newark Lab's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Star Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

KIPP Newark Lab and Elmwood Park will round out the year against one another at at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for North Star Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Kearny at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
