Volleyball Game Preview: R.J. Reynolds Demons vs. Tri-City Christian

The R.J. Reynolds Demons will take on Tri-City Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, R.J. Reynolds was able to grind out a solid victory over Glenn, taking the game 3-1.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (87-85) R.J. Reynolds actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 10-25, 25-22, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Tri-City Christian made easy work of Gray Stone Day two weeks ago and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tri-City Christian.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-19.

R.J. Reynolds' victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13. As for Tri-City Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
