             Indianapolis Shortridge came back down to earth  on Friday after soaring to a 21-point contest in their last game. They fell in  a  33-30 heartbreaker to the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars. One positive for the Blue Devils, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 When it comes to explaining why Indianapolis Shortridge lost, don't look at  Thomas Campbell. Despite the final result, he rushed for 233 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. Those 233  rushing yards gave  Campbell a new career-high.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Indianapolis Shortridge was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 261  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Even if they lost, Indianapolis Shortridge's defensive line still kept up the pressure with seven sacks. Greenwood Christian Academy's QB  won't forget  Demetrius Davis anytime soon given he sacked him five times. Davis also set a new season high mark in  total tackles with 12.
  Trey Dobson continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Greenwood Christian Academy, rushing for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 272 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt.  Evan Mcintire was another key player, gaining 144 total yards.
 Indianapolis Shortridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, their win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-2.
 Both  are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Indianapolis Shortridge will take on Mooresville at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they will face off against Eastern Greene at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Greenwood Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  in their last seven games.
