Basketball Recap: Burley Bobcats vs. Mountain Home Tigers
Burley lost against Mountain Home back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Burley Bobcats took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Home Tigers. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Burley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ruby Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Taylor a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Adalynn Olmos, who posted nine points in addition to five assists and four steals.
Mountain Home found their leader in sophomore Lexi Longhurst, who went 11 for 17 on her way to 26 points. Longhurst has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Ava Johnson was another key player, putting up seven points and six rebounds.
Burley's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Mountain Home, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-4.
