Football Recap: Dakota Ridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dakota Ridge fell victim to Green Mountain and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a blow against the Rams, falling 32-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even if they lost, Dakota Ridge's defensive line still kept up the pressure with eight sacks. In that department, Emery Bowman was the leader with seven. She is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Green Mountain found their leader in sophomore Marissa VanGuilder, who picked up 141 receiving yards and four scores.

Dakota Ridge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Green Mountain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dakota Ridge will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Doherty at 6:30 p.m. on September 3. As for Green Mountain, they will take on Bear Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
