Softball Recap: Willows Comes Up Short

Willows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-2 to the Mt. Shasta Bears.

Willows saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Calonico, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Willows' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Willows will be taking part in a tournament against Burney at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Shasta, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Los Molinos at 3:29 p.m. on Thursday.
