Basketball Recap: Pleasant Ridge Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Pleasant Ridge Rams ended up a good deal behind the Mission Valley Vikings and lost 68-51. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Pleasant Ridge lost, don't look at Wyatt Wilburn. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-14 on his way to 16 points and six assists. Those six assists gave Wilburn a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Canon Duncan, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

Pleasant Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Mission Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Pleasant Ridge nor Mission Valley have any future games scheduled.
