After only one  run in their last  game, Cimarron-Memorial made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Las Vegas  on Wednesday. Everything went the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans' way against the Las Vegas Wildcats as the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans made off with  a  24-11 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played  back in March of 2023.
Cimarron-Memorial got a  massive  performance out of  McKayllie Ernestburg, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Billie Wile, who  went 3-for-5 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Cimarron-Memorial  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Las Vegas struck out six times.
The  victory  got Cimarron-Memorial back to even at 1-1. As for Las Vegas, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 2-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cimarron-Memorial will challenge Southeast Career Tech at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Las Vegas,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as Las Vegas Wildcats  challenge  Desert Pines Jaguars at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. They know how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Desert Pines like a good challenge.
