Basketball Recap: Pinellas Park Takes a Loss

Pinellas Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Calvary Christian Warriors, falling 64-25. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 511th, while the Warriors are ranked 31st).

Pinellas Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Calvary Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinellas Park will head out to face off against St. Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Calvary Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Academy of the Holy Names at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
