Basketball Recap: Tompkins Has No Trouble Against Fulshear

Tompkins fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took down the Fulshear Chargers 59-41 on Thursday. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

Toby Princewill and Bryce Goodwin certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Princewill went 6 for 14 on his way to 13 points, while Goodwin posted nine points. The dominant performance also gave Goodwin a new career-high in assists (four). Preston White was another key player, putting up four points.

Tompkins' win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Fulshear, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Tompkins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-31 loss against Fort Bend Marshall on the 6th. As for Fulshear, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-41 defeat against Jordan on the 5th.
