Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Victory Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 33-25 to the Liberty Christian Academy Eagles.

Despite the defeat, Victory Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Albrey Jett posted 12 points. That was a full 48% of Victory Christian Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Crosspoint Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they and Mississippi Valley Christian will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
