Basketball Recap: Sultan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cascade last Friday, Sultan came back down to earth. The Sultan Turks had to suffer through a 65-28 loss at the hands of West Seattle.

Sultan dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for West Seattle, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Sultan and Orcas Island will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. West Seattle will take on Eastside Catholic in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
