Olean won the last time they faced Jamestown and things went their way on Friday too. The Huskies never let the Red & Green get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Emma Edwards was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Riley Sudbrook, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and three runs. Alaina Hirliman also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
