With a playoff game on the line, William Floyd rose to the challenge on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 55-26 win over Sachem East at home. Considering William Floyd has won five matches by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
William Floyd's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aisays Wallace, who rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Another player making a difference was Jason Pratt, who rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Longwood beat Commack 27-14 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Longwood.
Their wins bumped William Floyd to 8-1 and Longwood to 6-3.
