Spring Hill and Saint Thomas Aquinas squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Spring Hill had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Saints by a score of 8-7. The Broncos' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Nora Burrell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. Emma Reeves was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Spring Hill's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Saint Thomas Aquinas, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 27-2.

As of now, neither Spring Hill nor the Saints have any future games scheduled.
