While Western Alamance's win against Eastern Alamance wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 victory over the Eagles on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Western Alamance didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kylon Richardson.

Western Alamance's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Eastern Alamance, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Western Alamance will be playing in front of their home fans against Cummings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Cavaliers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.71 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Eastern Alamance, they will venture away from home to challenge Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 8.9 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
