Softball Recap: Many Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Many's offense. They came up short against the Alexandria Trojans on Friday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Many now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Alexandria, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Many didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Hornbeck on the 17th. As for Alexandria, they will venture away from home to challenge Pineville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pineville is on a ten-game streak of home wins, Alexandria a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
