Narragansett Regional has gone 9-1 against Murdock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Warriors will look to defend their home field against the Blue Devils at 3:30 p.m. Murdock took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Narragansett Regional, who comes in off a win.

If Narragansett Regional beats Murdock with 14 runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Warriors had just enough and edged out Gardner 14-13 on Friday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Murdock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Bromfield.

Kassandra Santos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Murdock saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Blake, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.

Narragansett Regional's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Murdock, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
