Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Unity Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pamlico Christian Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Heritage Christian Academy Patriots on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-10.

Unity Christian Academy's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Heritage Christian Academy, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, Unity Christian Academy will head out to take on Fellowship Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Unity Christian Academy is facing Fellowship Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Fellowship Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will challenge Hilltop Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
