Soccer Recap: Cocoa Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Cocoa was not quite Eau Gallie's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Eau Gallie Commodores by a score of 3-2. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Trinity Moore wasn't going to let Eau Gallie walk away unscathed as she scored both of Cocoa's goals, bringing her season total up to six goals.

Cocoa's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Eau Gallie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8-2.

Cocoa will welcome Titusville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cocoa is facing Titusville at the right time seeing as Titusville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Eau Gallie, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Shore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
