Volleyball Recap: Aquinas Gets the Win

It was a Battle of the Birds when Aquinas faced off against Yucaipa on Saturday. Aquinas came out on top in a nail-biter against Yucaipa, sneaking past 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 on Saturday.

Aquinas is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. Yucaipa is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Aquinas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Citrus Valley on the 29th. As for Yucaipa, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Beaumont at 5:30 p.m. on April 8.
