Lanier County is 10-0 against Echols County since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Lanier County Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Echols County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Lanier County didn't have quite enough to beat Turner County and fell 61-58. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (56), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Echols County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Brooks County and fell 75-37. The Wildcats were down 60-34 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Lanier County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Echols County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
