Volleyball Recap: Elida Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Elida won the last time they faced Dora and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers didn't even let the Coyotes on the board, marking the Tigers' second-straight 3-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Elida took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-9.

Elida's record is now 17-2. As for Dora, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Elida will square off against rival Floyd at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dora is set to face off against their familiar foe Gateway Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
