North Grand gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks a 1-0 shutout. North Grand's winning goal came courtesy of Marley Rivera.

North Grand will be playing at home against Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Steinmetz College Prep will take on Senn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
