Soccer Recap: Cabrillo Takes a Loss

The Cabrillo Conquistadores didn't have quite enough to beat the Santa Ynez Pirates on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Guillermo Olguin and Cristiano Medeiros scored both of Cabrillo's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Cabrillo's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Cabrillo and Santa Ynez will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Conquistadores see the pitch they'll take on Atascadero at 3:15 p.m. on December 2. As for Santa Ynez, their break will end when they face Arroyo Grande at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
