            Softball Preview: Triway Titans vs. South Range Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            The Triway Titans will head out to  square off against the South Range Raiders  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
Triway is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Monday. They walked away with  an   11-6  victory over Norwayne.
 Lexi Long spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.
 At the plate, Triway let  Kenzie Gatti and  Ashley Braunscheidel run wild. Gatti  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double, while  Braunscheidel  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with two  runs. That's the most  runs  Braunscheidel has posted since back in April.  Alyssa Hochstetler was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Meanwhile, South Range entered their tilt with Keystone on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Wildcats 12-2. 12 seems to be a good number for the Raiders as the  squad scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 South Range pushed their record up to 19-9 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Triway, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record  this season.
