Ridgeline Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Maricopa Institute of Technology Iron Eagles with a sharp 16-2 victory.

Olivia Baird made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single hit and allowed only two earned runs while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Baird was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Ridgeline Academy got a massive performance out of Maddie Martinez, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Gretchen Clower, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Ridgeline Academy pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Maricopa Institute of Technology, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
