Soccer Game Preview: Marshall vs. Adrian

The Marshall Redhawks will challenge the Adrian Maples at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Marshall's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Hastings as they made off with a 7-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Marshall considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Adrian waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Vikings. Given Adrian's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Jackson are ranked 206th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1. As for Adrian, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.
