League recap: McKee dominating on the mound for Orange

Orange's Kirk Mckee was the best pitcher in the league this week. Over the past week, he had zero wins and eight Ks.

Chapel Hill currently leads the league with an 11-10 record overall and a 6-1 mark during league play. Cardinal Gibbons sits zero games back in second, with a 7-2 record in league play.

The Panthers boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. Orange has given up a mere 172 hits on the year, while striking out 166 opposing hitters. McKee is the leader in that category with 67 Ks on the season.

Nick Debo had a multi-hit game on Wednesday, when he went 4-5 in Eastern Alamance's 4-1 win against Orange. He rounded out his day with one runs batted in and two runs scored.
