Football Recap: Harleton Wildcats vs. Elysian Fields Yellowjackets

After flying high against Ore City last Friday, Harleton came back down to earth. The Harleton Wildcats fell 34-21 to the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets on Friday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Leading Elysian Fields to victory were Nunu Kennedy and Brody Parker. Kennedy gained 285 total yards and three touchdowns, while Parker rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Kennedy's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 144 rushing yards.

Harleton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Elysian Fields, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
