Volleyball Recap: Millard North Wins Going Away Against Bellevue East

Millard North won the last time they faced Bellevue East and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs blew past the Chieftains 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Millard North took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-12.

Millard North had a senior duo take command as Hayden Sliva had seven digs and five aces and Sarah Faust had 17 assists and six digs. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Sliva. Macy Rands also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Millard North was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Millard North now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Bellevue East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Millard North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Norris on the 27th. As for Bellevue East, they will take on Marian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
