Softball Recap: Dallas County Comes Up Short

Dallas County lost against Thomasville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets came up short against the Tigers, falling 20-2. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Na'Kaiya Stubbs made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Dallas County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Thomasville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dallas County is set to face off against their familiar foe Southside at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Thomasville will challenge rival Wilcox Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
