Preview: Plains Horsemen vs. Thompson Falls Blue Hawks
Plains is 1-9 against the Blue Hawks since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Plains Horsemen will head out on the road to challenge the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Plains took their match at home with ease, bagging a 45-12 victory over the Trojans. The victory was just what Plains needed coming off of a 60-22 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Thompson Falls didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Lions on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 56-50 win. The win was just what Thompson Falls needed coming off of a 62-41 defeat in their prior game.
Plains' record is now 9-4. As for Thompson Falls, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Plains came up short against the Blue Hawks in their previous meeting back in January, falling 47-35. Can Plains avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
