Football Recap: Fulton Comes Up Short

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Stockton Blackhawks and fell 49-0. The Steamers lost against the Blackhawks in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 38-20 score last time.

Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Stockton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Fulton will take on Lena-Winslow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so the Steamers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Stockton, they will welcome Morrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blackhawks will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
