Dover put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Atkins Red Devils, posting a 74-35 win. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Red Devils are ranked 178th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dover pushed their record up to 19-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for Atkins, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover will head out to challenge Two Rivers at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Dover is facing Two Rivers at the right time seeing as Two Rivers is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Atkins, they will head out on the road to square off against Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atkins will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Glen Rose will have lost three straight heading into Friday's match.
