Volleyball Recap: Waverly Comes Up Short

Waverly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish.

Tamara Richardson paced Waverly's offense, picking up five kills. Richardson got some help from Kalina Fast and her nine assists.

Waverly's loss dropped their record down to 2-27-2. As for Notre Dame Prep, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 32-11-1.

Waverly has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against East Lansing on the 18th. As for Notre Dame Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Three Rivers on the 18th.
