Softball Recap: West Covina Comes Up Short

West Covina lost against Northview back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 8-4 to the Vikings. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Melina Alvarado was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

West Covina's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Northview, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Covina beat Northview by a score of 7-2 on Thursday.
