Basketball Recap: J.F. Webb Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

J.F. Webb unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Middle Creek Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 62-37. The Warriors were down 52-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Middle Creek was led to victory by Brittain Queen and George Daniels. Queen posted 22 points and five steals, while Daniels had 15 points and eight assists. Another player making a difference was Ben Shaffer, who earned six points and five boards.

Coming up, J.F. Webb will head out to face off against Vance County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Middle Creek, they will welcome Corinth Holders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
